Its an option you can do right away while Alex looks into combining
some.
Just save the zip file and put the scripts into a folder you want to
run them from. You might even like them as they are and not do any
editing. I added 4 or 5 and only edited the date and time, the others
were fine for me. The only thing I changed was from 24 hour to 12 hour
format and changed what was spoken to make it sound better. "The time is
now..." for example.

so if i understand things right I can just assign
say option 1 2 3 4 to those scripts and just run through them, that would
work fine actually. though i still think a script like i suggested would be
nice, however this will work for me. I’ll make sure to back up the scripts
before i go playing with script editing though I’m still paranoid about messing
things up.

Just an idea. Assign numbers to the scripts you want to use the most then
hold the option key and press each number one at t time to hear the info. Would
that work for you?
I have only edited the date and time script so far. Its only necessary to
edit the line that starts with set template. I played with this until I got
what I wanted. Just be mindful of the keywords used and the syntax. I broke the
script once or twice but no damage resulted.

You want to combine scripts into one? The zipped file that Alex provided has
several scripts that do these things bot separately. Have you worked on any of
it yet?

hi,
Is there a script anywhere for talking dashboard that causes it to read all the
info? Kind of like: if i want to hear all of the info then i could do something
like assign it a keystroke and it just reads all of that info? I’d ideally like
to be able to hear the time and date along with maybe the battery and some
other things

Sorry if i’m a bit unclear, not enough coffee yet!

Hi Alex,
Had forgotten about this when I upgraded to Yosemite a few months ago so had
to start over.
When I edit scripts, I get an error regarding auto save and the options are
to revert or save anyway. How can I resolve this.
Then when I execute one of these scripts, the speech is much slower. Where
do I need to go to change this? Thanks much.

The download link is below. It includes a Readme file that should explain
everything, but let me know if you can't work something out.

Does anyone know where i can download this from and have instructions on making
it work? I’m either losing my mind or i just can’t find it if someone could
give me this info i’d appreciate it. I’ve never used it with apple script so if
someone could suggest things for me here i’d appreciate it.
