First of all, this is in OS X 10.11, and i’m not 100% sure about v10.10.
So I Discovered this while replying to another thread, and I wanted to share
with everyone.
If you go into preferences and mail, (command plus,) and select the"view" tab
the very first checkbox is"use classic view".
When you select this checkbox unchecked by default, your inbox will look like
it used to before recent updates to OS X.
In another words, you can use voiceover left and right to navigate I Crossed
the from, subject, and date columns.
You could then navigate to the subject column and use shift down arrow to
quickly select messages based on their subjects, and then quickly and Easily
delete them.
Also once you have enabled the classic view, there is a menu option under the
view menu that isn't there by default available called"columns". You can select
or deselect what columns you want to show in your inbox. Hope this helps
someone.
