Hi all, I just took possession of my new Macbook Pro yesterday. I usually give myself a lot of time to customise a new computer to behave just how I want, but I had things working incredibly quickly. Thanks to Setup Assistant, I set up using a Time Machine backup of my Macbook Air, then I copied my virtual machine across from my NAS, which I don't have as part of the Time Machine backup. So within about 90 minutes, I had all my apps, my settings, Windows and all the software I use there, JAWS, and everything set up. Now that, is very slick. My question relates to the force touch trackpad in my new Macbook Pro. It's really remarkable. When the laptop is switched off, you can feel it for what it really is, a flat surface that doesn't give at all when you press it. But when the machine is on, the haptic technology really makes it feel like you're clicking. Makes me look forward to 3D touch on my 6s Plus next week. Has anyone found a use for the force touch gestures, such as a deep press, with VO? I take it VO can't yet differentiate between a deep press and a standard tap?
