Go into the accessibility settings of your i-device and check the “Prefer video description” checkbox. Content that is provided with video description—also known as audio description—from iTunes should automatically play using the audio description track. Be aware that this is not the case with Netflix. In the case of Netflix content, audio description is a separate language that can be chosen. To the best of my knowledge, there is no option to “prefer video description” on the Mac as there is on i-devices. Take care and have a great day.
