Yes, it sounds like we’re talking about the same voices. While I’m happy that at least CereVoice is working for you, I’m running the current stable Yosemite build and can’t get five minutes out of them without at least a freeze sufficient to cause me to have to restart VO. So, for now at least, I have to stand by my initial recommendation. I have yet to listen to very long passages with either, though I have a feeling that will prove more successful. Still, the Acapela voices work fine for both scenarios. I have ProblemReporter logging to Notification Centre so I will see if there is hard data to prove my suspicions, but I don’t think CereVoice or Cepstral—but especially Cepstral—are stable enough to use. If I knew what I know now, I wouldn’t have felt any need to buy them.
