Interesting thread. I've used Self hosted wordpress for a few years now, and find it pretty accessible. I upe basic HTML code to do things like insert headings, images, links and bullets into posts and pages. I'll give MarsEdit a look, but why do people find it better than just using the Wordpress interface?
