hi that’s the strange thing there is not a roach in the house we had a bug man come in when apple told us and he could not find one and our house is clean

Just take a Q tip with the fuzzy stuff off and stick it in the hole for headphones. Not sure how it does it but sometimes it will switch to digital input and will not respond to a 3.5 jack. The Q tip will reset the jack back to default.
