IFTTT is one of the tools which I regularly train my team on the existance of, and how to use. It is an amazing! tool for automation and such, and really can help leverage your goals/ambitions to a whole new level! Further, it's free, and totally 100% accessible.
If you're curious what this is all about, here is an article write up I did a few months back which explains more about this free tool. http://clgproductions.net/let-the-internet-work-for-you/ Keep being awesome! Hi Emilio, I’ve never used the gmail channel of IFTTT, sorry, so I can’t help you with that one. Other ways I’ve used IFTTT include: a.. automatically saving to Dropbox any articles I send to Instapaper; b.. sending me text message alerts if it is going to rain tomorrow; c.. uploading to Dropbox certain files at particular times to trigger Hazel rules which run AppleScripts as part of my home baked email defer system. I feel I’m not really taking full advantage of what IFTTT has to offer but for what I do it works well. Perhaps we should share notes on OS X and iOS automation off list sometime.
