Yes, you could reasign the camands if you haven’t done that already.  I am sure 
you know how.  The other thing I have done when strange things happen is that I 
repair permissions.  I imagine you know tha that h happens in disk utility.  
That stuff though it is a pain, seems to work.  Let me know if that helps.

I just tried sending this message with the standard Command Shift D combination 
and nothing happened. It will go fine with the left Command Shift D combination.
