You also forgot that el capitan now runs with the underlying metal engine, itself which takes full exploit of openCL/GL which makes system calls way down in the stack, and giving access to lots more memory spaces that could be injected. They most probably made modifications with that in mind, among others. If Apple is concerned about security, this is because they want to be ahead of exploits as much as they can, though no system is too vulnerable. And having a large number of zombie computers with iCloud systems everywhere is like having a pipe bomb in their own living room. Microsoft made the mistake of machine code access in their system. I remember my experiences using windows as less than stellar to that respect. This said, you can still get a hackintosh and pursue a dead end of user experience at some point.
