Hello Eileen, I’m using the same version as you and when I open Word, I’m presented with a screen where I have to choose between opening an existing document or creating a new one. When I create a new document, I interact with the layout area and then with the document, and I can type into my document just fine. To save time, I pasted in a few pages from a plain text document and made my document three pages long with no trouble. The next page VO command also works fine for me. On the whole, it’s looking reasonably accessible and I’ll certainly be buying Office for the Mac. I still prefer Pages, but it’s useful to have Word to check that everything has been converted correctly.
