I find that, when a video loads and an ad starts, I should not touch anything. As soon as VO announces "ad can be skipped", I tab once and always land on the "skip ad" button; space will then skip the ad. If I move around at all, though, tabbing once will not land me on that button, so I've learned to not touch anything until the video is playing and I know if I can skip the ad or not.
Interesting idea about ad blockers. I didn't think they would work on Youtube, but that would be really great. I'll have to try one. > On Jun 21, 2015, at 7:08 AM, Shaf <shafpa...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Use an adblocker > > On 6/21/2015 6:06 AM, joseph big wrote: >> hello list members >> >> how to skip youtube adds on the mac? >> >> thank you in advance. >> >> best >> > > -- > You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups > "MacVisionaries" group. > To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an > email to macvisionaries+unsubscr...@googlegroups.com. > To post to this group, send email to macvisionaries@googlegroups.com. > Visit this group at http://groups.google.com/group/macvisionaries. > For more options, visit https://groups.google.com/d/optout. -- Have a great day, Alex Hall mehg...@icloud.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group.
