I am not sure if you are using Mac or Windows itunes but in either case
itunes reads the appropriate CD information from the tag information
included in the mp3 files or whatever media format you are using.
I would suggest that in either case you need to delete the relevant
files from the itunes database and re-import the files with amended
information.
Personally I find Tag editing awkward on both Windows and Mac itunes and
would recommend using a proper Tag Editor in either case. This is
especially the case as iTunes mysteriously does not actually edit tags
but merely amends its database records.
Assuming you are using Windows then first of all
1. Locate the media in your itunes media folder on your PC. I forget
where this is in Windows by default as I have changed the location but
will be something like ITunes with a iTunes Media folder inside that and
your CD folder inside that.
2. For safety copy this folder and rename it.
3. Make sure you have the free Mp3Tag installed on your PC.
4. With the folder highlighted press the application key and then 3 to
launch Mp3Tag.
5. In Mp3Tag press control A to select all tracks.
6. Tab to the Album Tag Field and Rename the CD to what you want. You
can also amend any other tags here whilst tabbing through. leave the
track titles and number alone as you have selected more than one track
so changes made here will apply to all tracks.
7. Control S to save. Press enter to clear the confirmation message and
close Mp3Tag.
8. Now open iTunes and delete the old version of the CD and and go to
the file menu to select Open folder.
9. Finally import your amended CD files with proper information.
You can do the same thing on the Mac side but will have to use an
alternative Tag editor. I use IDE Tag Editor which is very different
from mp3Tag and is unfortunately not free. Mp3Tag has more features so
there are advantages in doing this under Windows as opposed to the Mac.

Hello!
I have a cd here which is included in a radio-drama.
Though the itunes database is naming it something else.
Do i have to rip the cd first and then rename it or can i rename it bu
selecting the title in question and then go to rename?
Thanks in advance.
