Deborah, I have installed windows multiple times under fusion 2. The process has remained exactly the same for fusion 3. After the DVD stops spinning, you need to give it some time. The way the windows install works is that it first copies many files to your hard drive via the DVD. Then, it stops the DVD, and goes through the process of unpacking and installing everything. This can take as much as an hour to complete, even when using XP. Here's my advice. Try going through all the steps of the auto install. Let the DVD spin around, and keep fusion open even after it stops. Wait about an hour or so. After the install finishes setting things up, you will hear the windows log on sound. Note: The audio is somewhat low at first, so turn your volume up to be sure you don't miss it. Also, if you hear nothing an hour and a half or so after the DVD has stopped spinning, restart the virtual machine and see what happens. There are times when, for some reason, sound has not worked until after an initial restart of the VM. This is rare though, and only happened to me twice. I hope this helps,
