Right; it is what wasn’t announced at WWDC that is more deserving of attention, 
except perhaps that Swift will be Open Source. Gosh, what a roar of approval 
that engendered, and with good reason!

Sadly, all the other good stuff is stuck behind mostly walled-off release 
notes, although among the info now also out there (but not access-related) are 
that you can now develop iOS apps without a developer account, that iOS apps 
may now filter network traffic, or act as proxy or VPN client, that OS X server 
can now act as file share server for iOS clients, and that you only need one 
developer account for all platforms.  All of which is great news for those who 
care, but probably not much help to people watching the keynote looking for 
groundbreaking new features.
