I did download using iTunes. However, if you go into your library of books and
make sure you get all your books to show on the web as you can do this by going
through the options which is displayed as a table, (best to do this on the
Audible.co.uk/access website) there is a play button if you have signed in to
your library. When I tried playing books using this method, there was a
problem connecting to Audible Server. I don't know if it's because I'm trying
to do this on the Mac. But as all of the controls are accessible when you hit
the play button then I believe you can play your books in the Audible Cloud
player and no need to download using iTunes. That advantage is that if you
listen to your book on the I phone later, then your position is already synced
across your devices.

The web site has changed and yes, each book listed in your audible.com library
now has an on-line play button.

how do you do this? I know you used to be able to do this, never tried it on
the mac. is there a play button that's in the library or something?
