The monitor never went anywhere, but yes, I did take the keyboard a few 
different places. It was $12 though, so even if it had broken, I could have 
replaced it easily enough. Ultimately, the desire to travel with a Mac led me 
to switch to the Macbook, and I'm far happier overall. Sure, I miss all the 
ports of the Mini, but the laptops are portable and way more compact, plus 
offer the multi-touch trackpad and a mic/webcam.
