I've not used that thing in years, but it was a nice little player when I
did.
Seriously though, try VLC from Videoland. I know you're wanting audio, not
video, but trust me, it does both. It's open source, so is totally free,
and yes, there are plugins you can get, to the best of my knowledge, and
yes, there are global hotkeys, at least the last I checked.

As subject states. Looking for a better player than Cog. I'm looking for
