I do not use Bluetooth a great deal but your reply prompted me to
just turn on the headset and boot up the Mac. That was all I needed to
do. Thanks.
I knew this worked with Bluetooth braille displays, keyboards and
trackpads. Very nice to know the headset works the same way.

way I know therefore to reconnect it would be to go to the bluetooth
devices list on whatever you wanna connect it to, in this case, yoru
mac, then manually reconnect it. The whole reason for discover mode in
the first place is to disconnect it from one device so it then can be
pared to another one.
