I have a couple questions as I set up to record both Skype and FaceTime calls
using Audio Hijack.

I want the phone audio to be recorded on a separate channel from my voice,
i.e., the caller audio is on one channel and me on the other.

If there is an Audio Hijack list somewhere, point me there. If not, here are my
questions.

I listened to Alex’s very excellent tutorial on getting started with Audio
Hijack and it was quite helpful in understanding the way things are laid out.

I saw a preset for voice chat. Is that the one that will allow you to record
audio on two channels? It appears to be but just wondering.

In the configuration of that preset, I’ve put in FaceTime as the application.
Do I need to add my input device, i.e., my microphone from the computer? I’m
using a mic through a mixer which shows up as USB Mixer in the input
devices/sources.

Then I assume to start the recording I simply hit command-r and away we go.

If anyone has a more detailed tutorial please point me there.

Thanks so much and sorry for the silly questions. turns out I’m charged with
producing a podcast for work which will involve interviews and this is going to
be a big part of my life for a bit.
