Grant,
Thanks for taking the time to give us an overview of the two apps.
The Pro version is still on the App Store so it may not have gone
away. But I do not think I need recording features. ooTunes not being
updated is a deal breaker.
One thing I have noticed in all the internet radio apps I have
tested do not have a New Age genre. Its only one of several that I enjoy
but its a glaring omission.
Tunein Radio appears to be easier to navigate than some others.
From The Believer. . .

Gods cameth the Aliens who
dwelt amongst the humans,
and bringeth much knowledge.

Hello Kawal, my understanding is that TuneIn Pro is no longer available to new
users, and so those who don’t already have TuneIn Pro have to pay the monthly
fee. However, since you have it, you’re essentially grandfathered in. I may be
wrong but that is my understanding.

I have Tunin Radio Pro on my I phone 6plus and at the time I bought it when I
had my I phone 4. Well, I paid £2.99 and do not pay a monthly fee. So why
should anyone pay a monthly fee for it now? If I had to, I'd get rid of it
without question.
Kawal.
