Yes but if you update to Yosemite you will have free access to Pages.

I thought Pages was now free if you're on OSX 10.10. I actually paid for my
copy so I can't be 100% sure. Check the Mac app store and make sure you can't
just download them.

Hello all,
I have been using Textedit since I got my Mac.
I have a document that is 13 pages long. Firstly I have great difficulty
getting my cursor to the last page. When I inserted a page break to create page
14 I was not able to get VO to read what I am typing. If I purchase Pages is
there a limit to the number of pages I can work with?
I am not complaining about Textedit, after all it cost nothing extra when I got
the iMac.
Thanks for any advice.
Max.
