Hi Donna, This probably happened because there were syncing conflicts after re-enabling the iTunes Match service on your Mac due to the libraries between your iDevice and Mac not being exactly the same. As mentioned, if these extra playlists also now reside on your Mac, deleting them from either should fix things up as everything re-syncs. Alternatively, if the mess-up is only on your iDevice, just turn off the iTunes Match service on the iDevice then open the Music app which should clear any library data, then re-enable the iTunes Match service on the iDevice after which all should get cleaned up automatically.
