Generally all Apple's chargers are will take pretty much any voltage or
frequency you'll find in the developed world. The main thing you'll need
is an adapter to get the plugs to physically connect. Spain is on the
230v 50hz standard. So if you have one of those adapters you should be
all set. I forgot mine last time I was in Madrid and ended up paying
full fare in an airport store. I think it was a unit something like this:
http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-33117-International-Travel-Adapter/dp/B0002H4YUI/ref=sr_1_74?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1428286371&sr=1-74
It's round with a US plug on one end and several sliders on the side.
Each slider pushes a different kind of plug out the other end for
different countries. There is nothing special being done electrically
since you don't need that.
I should point out to check into your phone data/voice plan when you do
international travel. Most of the US companies will rake you over the
coals for international roaming data and voice. Since I was traveling
for work they actually provided a phone for Spain rather than try to get
all that worked out. I suspect they wouldn't have done that if it wasn't
cheaper. Of course this was back in 2009. It was nice being able to
Skype back home from there on my Mac but my own iPhone remained useful
only in my room with Wifi.

Hi all,
I have an upcoming trip to Spain and want to take both my iPhone and my Mac.
Does anyone know what I need by way of chargers while I'm in Spain?
Thanks,
Donna
