Agree with Chris; all this commodity rubbish is no good.  If you are using 
DSL/DSL2/2+, i.e. the vast majority of DSL providers, then I’d recommend you 
consider a Draytek 120.  It passes PPP frames directly through to the Ethernet 
adaptor, thus allowing any PPPoE client (including AirPort) to work 
transparently with your DSL provider, with the AirPort getting the public IP 
address and doing NAT.  For VDSL, they now have a v130, but I’m not sure if the 
bridging function therein is a UK-specific firmware mod, as it looks like it.  
It’s what I now use, with a Mac Mini as my router, but it would work just as 
well with AirPort.
