I would simply add that on occasions I find that I have to use virtual mouse click, that is shift VO space on buttons for the install to proceed rather than VO space. Also pressing the space-bar by itself or the enter key sometimes works.

They way I do it is as follows:
download the latest flash player for mac by going to,
www.get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Follow the steps there to download the latest flash player .dmg file.
Once downloaded, close all programs and then open the .dmg and run the
installer app.
That’s it. The systems preferences adobe update installer is inaccessible and
is only good for notifying that a new flash player is available. If you have
system prefs set to auto update flash, then when that update flash dialog pops
up, simply cancel out of it and follow the manual steps I outlined above.

Hello,
I am stumped on this one. Can anybody tell me what is the best way to update
flash player for the Mac using VoiceOver? Every time I try to run the
installer, it just keeps focusing on the installer helper. If I click on this,
it says this item was removed. Does this mean the installation is completed
without VoiceOver giving me this message? I don’t think it is, because when I
try to play content, nothing happens. If I press command q to quit, it says
quit host, and brings up Safari with the message that Adobe Flash player can
not be installed. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
