I just want to get people to shoot some 5-10 second videos on their iphones so 
they would all be the same format presumably, and then email them to me.  Then 
I want to stick them all together.  I did use the cat formula on mp3's back in 
the day, but it didn't do the job eligantly as you say.

This is going out for public consumption so I don't want it crashing people's 
browsers.

I'm having no trouble finding information about mencoder but I am having 
trouble finding a download.  Is it built in to mplayer?
