Hi there You are lucky if you got Internet Explorer to work, although some people on this list have gotten Tax Act to work. When I tried them, I not only crashed Safari, but I crashed JAWS for Windows three times. I have finally decided that I do not like doing my taxes online where their computer can hang up on me if I take too long or they have set up something stupid on their web site that makes them partially or totally inaccessible. With Tax Act, this seems to be especially bad if I put in something and then had to go back and edit it. When I used Tax Act, I was more successful with the iPhone. It was better than using either Windows or the Mac for me.
I have said before on this list, I really liked Turbo Tax for 2014. If you haven’t already finished with your taxes, you might want to try it. The thing I liked was that I could take as long as I wanted, which was a good thing since I had to keep looking up information. Also, it was easier to go back and change something. Turbo Tax for 2014 is written by the same company, but it is excellent this year. You can electronic file also when you get done. when I tried using Tax Act and called their customer service people, they refused to talk to me unless I paid them first. Since the issue was accessibility, I told them to forget it.
