Hello, all: I have been trying to apply paragraph styles in the latest version of Pages. I select the paragraph I want to work with, move to the format area with VO-J, and interact with paragraph styles. I see the style I want to apply. We’ll use heading level 2 as an example. No matter how I interact with and try to select the heading level 2 radio button, I can’t seem to get it to stick reliably. I have gotten it to work a couple times, but I honestly have no idea why. In the process of fiddling around, I’ve managed to create about three new body styles which I am unable to get rid of. To add insult to injury, I was unable to get the demo of Nisus Writer Pro to load on my Macbook. I wasn’t sure I wanted to pay $79 for the app anyway, but I was going to give it a whirl. Before anyone suggests that I just take the easy way out and use Text Edit, there doesn’t seem to be a way to apply actual heading levels in Text Edit. Centering appears to be the closest I can get.
