Whilst the Yosemite update is generally positive I have noticed some issues
onVLC. I wonder if these are specific to my system or general.
Essentially VLC remains usable with hotkeys but Voiceover on my setup is unable
now to navigate any of the VLC main window elements and simply reports that VLC
has no windows. Weirdly it is still possible to close this allegedly non
existent window with command W so despite what Voiceover is reporting it seems
likely that there is in fact, something there which it is not reading for some
reason.

I am using VLC 2.1.5 which is currently the newest version available.. The
main drawback is that it is no longer possible therefore to review playlist
information or check the title of a track being played.
Before I uninstalling and re-installing the app I wonder if anybody else is
experiencing this.
