Hi, I recently purchased a new Macbook Pro from Ebay. I migrated all the information across from my Time Capsule which appeared to go wel.
However when I try to import new songs from an external drive in to my iTunes using comd o I get the following error Attempting to copy to the disk “Macbook HD” failed. You do not have enough access privileges for this operation. Now I am the administrator and as far as I can tell I have read-write privileges so I don’t understand what is going on here. Can anyone give me a bit of advice? Also, in my old iTunes I had several backups of my iPhone and iPad, these don’t appear to have been transferred Do they show up once you plug your device in when it can see its name? I’m using iTunes 11 under Mavericks 10.9.5 with a Macbook Pro July 2014 with 16gb of ram if that helps. Thanks for any help offered in advance.
