Hi,

There should also be a choice in Disk Utility if you wish the drive to be 
Windows/Mac writeable, to format your drive in the XFAT format which allows for 
much bigger file size than FAT32 I think that the file size is something like 
16 TB although I could be remembering incorrectly.
