Music in your home directory is a general location for music, of which iTunes
is a subdirectory, and iTunes Media a subdirectory of that. In the media
directory, one of the subdirectories is called Music, and holds your music as
managed by iTunes. The iTunes library folder can be changed by option-starting
iTunes, and you can choose the media location in Preferences. To bring most
iTunes data with you, simply make a backup of the iTunes folder in the Music
folder in your home directory, while iTunes isn't running.

To reset, simply delete the iTunes library folder and restart iTunes; in other
words, simply delete the folder called iTunes that is in your Music directory
under home.
