I’m finally getting nice and comfortable with my macbook air and i also managed to solve the problem with osx and vmware and eating the capslock…..Turns out that in vmware the command key acts as a numpad insert. this allows me to use the speakup laptop layout and i’m happy. Also using the vm to ssh back into the macbook environment as someone suggested previously. This leads me to a few questions now……Sorry if this gets long!
1. I noticed my load average is almost constantly at 1.0 is this normal for macbook airs and how can i cut down on the load since it looks to be the operating system doing it and not any programs i’m running i tested this by closing everything. Art there things i can change to make it run any better then it already does? Such as turning off visual type stuff like you can with windows sometimes. 2. I’m looking for some sort of thing that would let me have a look at and play tarot cards….(overwelming curiousity heh.) lastly, are there tutorials out there for the office suit used on the mac as well as does someone have a url for the finder podcasts that were done recently? Hmm one more thing. I’m looking for an astrological calendar I can’t tell but i dont think the calendar app has one.
