Hi May, In case you haven't installed yet, I would recommend personally not to upgrade it. It's the easiest way if you do prefer to keep all your settings and so-forth, but if you reformat by using Disk Utility from the Snow Leopard DVD, you can at least be sure you won't get any strange effects. They probably don't happen very often, but if they do, you probably wish you installed from scratch anyway. Maybe that's just me, but I prefer to have a completely new installation without any stuff I had from Leopard, including settings, lying around. It's not really too much of a hastle setting everything up again.
