Sarai, If you are truly interested in a powerful journaling app than I personally believe the price could be worth it if Journaling is important. Get on their mailing lists and they often have specials on their products but you might have to be patient. They especially have the specials for certain holidays or events. I got both macJournal for iPhone and Mac for half off. The price was worth it to me for the plans I have. :) Fingers crossed on the syncing. That is the part that boggles my mind and I am afraid to sync incorrectly and for example have the most up to date version on my iPhone and then go to sync and have it accidentally replace the older version with the newer version. I believe there are two ways to sync. One is through drop box and the other is through macJournal itself. I do not know if they have added iCloud drive support. I do not think so but like I said, this really confuses me and I can’t wrap my brain around it. Once I understand it, I will happily start journaling. I really really want to understand this syncing so that I can Journal when out and about on my iPhone. Often I want to make a quick Journal on my iPhone to note an important moment before I forget. I just want to make sure I understand how to sync first. :)
