Hi,

I have another question related to messaging on the Mac. I attempted to
reply to a message, and when I found the area to write my message, nothing
showed up when I typed. I tried this while interacting with the edit field
with quick nav on and off. I'm sure I must be missing a step.

All you have to do is go to messages on the Mac. Go to messages preferences,
then to your iMessage account. Then check the box on your phone number. Then
try the message forwarding again.

forwarding to my macbook pro. On my iphone 5C that runs the latest iOS, I
go to settings and messaging. Under the item allowing such message
forwarding, I have already two other devices enabled for this, my ipad and
macbook air. Now, my macbook pro is listed there too but is turned off. I
tap the button to turn it on, I get a message to enter the code that shows
on my macbook pro. But there is no such code showing on my macbook pro.
What's going on? I'm connected to the same wifi, I have bluetooth on, all
the devices are signed into the same icloud account. My messages and calls
are forwarded to my ipad and macbook air successfully but not to my macbook
pro. By the way, I run Yosemite on both. Any tips please?
