Hi, Sometimes yes, but usually no. If you tell VO to be quiet right away as the page is being loaded, and only use VromeVox navigation after that, VO will normally stay quiet until you use VO keys and initiate a VO command. Regarding next/previous element navigation, yes, VO does have such a thing. To learn what’s available, press VO-h to bring up the Help VoiceOver Help menu, expand the Commands menu then down to the Find options and right to see what’s available. any commands that you may use frequently could be assigned keystrokes in the Keyboard Commander if they don’t already have something assigned.
