If you’re referring to the “New textedit window with selection” that Anne spoke 
of, first you have to have something selected for it to show up, and it will be 
found under the pages menu in “services”.
That’s for manual use, for a short cut key to execute that service, That’s 
somewhere in system prefs/keyboard etc.
