just to add to what Alex has said, you don't have to add cards to a group 
individually.  You can interact with the table of contacts and use the select 
method.  Use vo+up or down arrow to go through the list of your contacts. Once 
you've found the one you want to add to group, press vo+command+enter key to 
select it or deselect it.  Voiceover will tell you how many selections you have 
each time you add another contact.  This is a good method because in this way 
you can select non-consecutive contacts.  Once you've selected all the cards 
you want, press vo+shift+m to call up contextual menu and choose add to group. 
which you will have previously created.
