Andrew,
I’ve been having issues with it as well and I’m running a late 2013 mac book 
pro with 16 gigs of ram.
I guess my main issue is when you find yourself in a page with a picture on it. 
Being able to navigate away from it was problematic for me. If you were able to 
find out how to do this Tim, I’d love to know. there have also been pdf files 
that upon interacting, it just said pdf content are and nothing more
