Hello Juliette,

My general opinion on this is that if you own the DVD, then you have the right
to rip it foryour own personal enjoyment.

Besides, some DVDs contain old shows that may never be available for purchase
or download.

Again, this is just my opinion and in no way am I encouraging you to either rip
content or not; I am just posting my personal view on the subject.

Mark

On this same topic, I have a question. If I have some DVDs that of TV shows
that are not available on iTunes as of yet, should I just wait until iTunes
adds them and then purchase them from the iTunes store to watch on my Apple TV?
Or can I rip the DVDs into iTunes and tag them appropriately to be watched on
the Apple TV? Thanks.
