I’ve had this issue before,
In my case I’ve accidentally clicked the trackpad while I was typing, and this
for some reason caused my keyboard to no longer input any characters.
A restart of the computer resolved the issue though.
What I’ve done to stop this from happening is to disable the “trackpad
commander” until it’s needed.
I hope this helps you.
