Hi,

I used to use Audiobook Builder quite a lot, mostly to convert audiobooks which
I had bought and and / or been given as presents into a single file. I found
it quite good for that purpose.

When you open The application, first you have to choose to create a new
project. Give it a name and save it where you can find it, i.e. documents.
Once you have done this, you will have other choices available to you. First
of all, you need to add files to your project. Look in the menus of the
application in particular in the “audiobook” menu item for various options and
shortcut keys. If you are adding files from a cd, you have to choose “import
cd” options. So if I had a book that was recorded on 3 cds, I would import
them all one by one into the new project. Then you finish importing and choose
various options how you’d like to have your book created. This will require
some learning, because you will have various options which you need to press.
Once you’ve decided, you choose the last options to build your book. If you
had chosen to have your book sent into itunes, this will what will happen. You
will have a playlist called “audiobook builder’ amongst your playlists in
itunes. Audiobook builder will put all the books there. Incidentally, you can
choose what format you want your book to be: mp3 or m4a.

Hope this will help you a little. Audiobook Builder has a help item in its
menu bar.

Best wishes

Andrew
