I had a similar problem with another app and despite multiple re-downloads I also could not shake off this error message. It appears that Yosemite does not like some dmg downloads. If it helps I think I have the QCast dmg somewhere which I could upload to Sendspace. Luckily in relation to QCast for me personally it has come into Yosemite for me OK as I upgraded. rather than did a fresh install. Unfortunately the companion app to QCast, QFeed is not working as it should under Yosemite on the mac and the App Developer has completely ignored my attempts to bring this to his attention.

This is disappointing as I recommended the app under Mavericks. I am not convinced by Continuum's commitment to supporting the Mac platform therefore under Yosemite and the longer term.

I was just trying to download the podcast application for the Mac from

application onto the computer, VoiceOver gives me a warning that the file is
damaged and that I must eject the disc image manually. Any ideas on what could
be causing this?
Thanks.
