For the majority of my life i've been a linux user. I've wanted a mac for quite a while now and i'm going to get a macbook air soon. I've got a couple of questions though:
There are certain things that i want to do in particular. 1. does i-chat work with irc or is it a mac specific thing? I particularly need an irc client because of some of the things i need to do. I'm also curious as to how android phones and macs get along. Only thing i need to do is be able to dump content onto the tablet and copy content from the tablet. I'm also looking for any tips or advice someone might have to offer to someone completely new to macs. I've got iphone experience but that died around ios 6 and i've not really followed any of that since.. Is there a website out there that offers suggestions for programs that are and aren't accessible on macs?
