It is a bit peculiar but I have been able to retain my column browser in
iTunes under Yosemite just fine. I do not know if this is a feature of
my upgrading rather than a clean install.
I have all the problems you have encountered on the windows version of
iTunes though.

title. But that doesn’t change the fact that albumes is the only view and the
only display is that most unhelpful grid. This pretty well renders itunes
playback on my Mac useless as compared with the i-devices. What am I missing
here?
