Hello,

I’ve just upgraded to Yosemite on late 2010 Macbook air with 4GB RAM only. I’m
pleased to say that since I had upgraded a few hours ago, I had no trouble.

Specifically to your problem, I still am able to use right and left arrow keys
to expand and collapse conversations in Mail. I interact with the message area
and then find the subject of each conversation, and I am able to collapse or
expand the threads successfully with arrow keys.

The only thing that baffles me is that voiceover announces “conversation
collapsed” when in fact there is no more than one message in the thread. I
don’t quite understand why it does so.

Best of luck

Andrew
