I don't know anything about it but I think I saw something in the bookshare newsletter that they have a daisy/bookshare book player for the mac. I don't know if it's compatible with Sl or Leopard or if it's even available. If it's compatible and available I wonder if this player will play your text book. I'm sorry I am not much help.
