Hi, I tried mactubes as well but I PERSONALLY vastly prefer a program called
downie.
Its totally accessible and can work with many many many other sites besides
youtube.
I installed a plugin for safari and now it is even easier, when you are playin
gthe video that you want to download from youtube, in the safari toolbar there
will be a button open with downie. Then, if the video is part of a playlist you
will have the opportunity to download that in its entirity. The program can
even extract just the audio and save it as mp3, deleting the original mp4 or
other files.
Its all pretty intuitive and automatic.
The app is not free but there is a 7 day trial.
I think it costs 15 orso, for me its totally worth that. I have been
downloading twit podcasts and youtube videos with it all day and it just owrks
flawlessly.
Greetings, Anouk,
